1. What are the primary requirements for nurses to immigrate to US? 

a. A Diploma or BSc in Nursing, Valid License and work experience (preferable)

      c. Passing the TOEFL / TWE / TSE Exams - proof  of English proficiency

2. Do I have to pay any money to Nurse Globally?

      No, you don’t pay any fee to Nurse Globally.

3. How long will it take to come to US?

If you have passed the CGFNS & IELTS exam, it will take 8 to 12 months

If you have not taken the CGFN &IELTS exam, it will take 12 to 16months

4. Will I be able to bring my spouse and children get their     Green Card?

    Yes, your spouse and children under 21 will be able to apply for the Green Card.

5. Who handles my immigration process?

     We have retained immigration attorneys who will 
process your visa paperwork as well as we will pay for it.
 

6. Who pays for all the exam fees & ticket to US?

Nurse Globally will pay for all the exam fees and one way ticket to US for you.

7. When I land in US who will help and guide me?

Nurse Globally representative will pick you up at the airport and take you the temporary residence.  

8. What is CGFNS?

This exam is required from graduates of nursing schools located outside of the United States of America who are interested in practicing as registered nurses in the U.S.

The CGFNS Qualifying Examination is a test of the candidates' nursing knowledge and their understanding and use of English language. They will be awarded a CGFNS Certificate when they have passed both the nursing section and the English language section o f the examination.

9. What is the NCLEX-RN?

The NCLEX-RN is the examination that registered nurses are required to pass in order to obtain a nursing license in the U.S. This examination is currently only available in the U.S.; however it is scheduled to be administered at certain international locations beginning in 2005. 10. What is TOEFL Exam?

The test of English as a foreign Language evaluates the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. The test has four sections: Test of Written English, listening, structure, & reading

13. What is IELTS exam?

IELTS tests the English language skills and also Listening and Speaking modules. Nurses planning to come to the U.S. on a Green Card would need to take the Academic modules.

14. What is Visa Screen and why do I need it?
U.S. Immigration law now requires that healthcare professionals, other than physicians, complete a screening program in order to qualify for certain occupational visas. Visa Screen, a program offered by The International Commission on Healthcare Professions (ICHP), a division of CGFNS, enables healthcare professionals to meet this requirement by verifying and evaluating their credentials to ensure that they meet the government's minimum eligibility standards. CGFNS is named in the new law as a qualified provider of such a screening program.

a. Complete the Visa Screen application. 

b. Complete the forms to send to your nursing school(s). Transcripts must come   directly from the school(s).
 
c. Complete the forms to send to your licensing authority (ies). Validations of all licenses, past and present, must come directly from the licensing authorities. 

d. You must successfully complete an English language proficiency test and have the scores directly sent to ICHP from the testing agency. 

e. You must pass either the CGFNS Qualifying Exam or the NCLEX-RN exam (RNs only). 

f. Enclose a copy of your high school diploma or equivalent. 

g. Enclose the application fee.
